Glue guns come in TWO main types. That’s

1. HOT glue guns and

2. COLD glue guns.

Hot glue guns are mainly utilized when VERY tight bonding is required, and it’s normally not very easy to do so. For instance, use hot glue guns when you need to glue metal, wood, etc.

Cold glue guns are the ultimate choice when gluing rubber, paper, fabric, plastic, and such. And since they don’t heat up the glue as much as the hot glue guns, they are perfect for kids, or for anyone, who doesn’t want to accidentally get burnt badly, for that reason.
